Bérénice Ménard is passionate about the creative world and the world of young children. She has a special fondness for the wooden high chair from her childhood. A baby care item that reminds her of family meals, authenticity, and the traditions of yesteryear. This is how the brand, Timouny, was born, with the goal of bringing high chairs—often passed down from generation to generation—back into style.
Yes… but… Why Timouny?
A mother of two boys, she longed to return to a simpler life. It was after the birth of her second son that she began to transform her life, refocusing on her family with a passionate desire to create and share products that are, of course, made in France and respectful of both the environment and people.
Ever since Nathan, his second son, was born, the word “Timouny” has become an integral part of the family. Maël, his oldest son, started calling his brother Timouny, and the whole family followed suit. Why? Who knows…

Since the brand was founded, we have been committed to working exclusively with garment workshops in France.
In an effort to promote French craftsmanship, we design all our products in the South of France. French craftsmanship is renowned worldwide, so all our products are made to last and be passed down through the generations . Why manufacture on the other side of the world when all the expertise is right here at your doorstep?
In an effort tominimize our carbon footprint as much as possible, most of our suppliers are based in France. By choosing these suppliers, we help preserve jobs in France. We do not import anything from Asia, not even haberdashery items.
All fabrics used are carefully selected to meet Oeko-Tex 100 or GOTS standards , ensuring they are safe for babies' skin and the environment.
